You Can Study Engineering With Your Grade 9 Certificate At False Bay TVET College



The education landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is with the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school product is not the only effective means of learning. Their NCV programmes are created for students who want to begin their journey toward a fulfilling profession early on.

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Division for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are made available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes get started at NCV level two and the minimum need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel two, they would then have attained here a grade ten certificate. NCV Level 3 click here would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, getting comparable to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 which is equivalent to an NQF level two.

On which type of scholars are suited for these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that regular schooling is not really always the only real means of turning out to be an artisan or getting experienced therefore if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is really completely fitted to that student.
